Minimizing Microplastics for Improved Well-being (Local Class)

Join us at the Tulip on Saturday, November 22nd to learn about the rising health concern of microplastics, what they are doing in our bodies, and what you can do to minimize them. Learn herbal strategies to help the body cope with microplastics. Megan of The Clean Home Shop & Refinery in Dickinson will share with us healthy & natural swaps for common household objects that shed microplastics into our food & air.

It's simple and beautiful to swap out unhealthy plastic for natural materials. Learn how to do this live in class with Megan & Erin.

microplastics are a huge rising health concern--and we can't escape them

Microplastics are microscopic pieces of plastic that become embedded in our body tissues.

Microplastics have been found in every type of human tissue and discharge.

Microplastics are implicated through studies in a number of serious health conditions, including cancer.

We are only able to eliminate certain types of microplastics. We need to learn how to support elimination and also learn how to harmonize with them.

That's why I created this class

The idea that we can detox from microplastics is a misnomer. Why? Because we are always going to be re-exposed. Microplastics are in the air, the water, the food, in our fabrics, our furniture, and many of our common household objects.

This is why we must learn how to:

  • minimize microplastic exposure

  • learn how to clear microplastics from our air & water

  • swap out contaminating objects from our homes with natural materials

  • support our body's natural elimination processes with gentle herbal support

  • create resiliency in our body through circadian alignment and a strong immune system

The cost of this class is $47 and can be paid by hitting the "Reserve Your Spot" button at the top of this page. A hard copy class handout will be available to all who purchase this course in advance (not guaranteed for those who pay at the door).

what you will learn

Here's what to expect from class

and what knowledge you will bring home to help you with more resilient health

Come grab your beverage of choice from the Tulip gals starting at 9:30 am.

Class will start at 10 am with discussing what microplastics are, where they are found in the body, what they do in the body, and why that's a problem. I will be sharing multiple studies that confirm the dangers of microplastics. And, we will find out what the world's top scientists say about what kinds of plastic to avoid and where it's found most frequently in your home.

Secondly, I will be sharing simple and gentle herbal strategies to help support the body's natural elimination processes and immune systems. We will also touch on some circadian alignment principles that will help to create resiliency in your system.

We will have a tea tasting of several types of tea to add to your daily routine for a robust response to microplastic exposure.

Megan will round out our experience by bringing examples of healthy swaps for common household items for your kitchen, laundry room, bathroom, and even your personal care routines. She will also share about the Refillery and how buying in bulk in reusable containers helps cut down on plastic waste in our environment (and therefore our body).

Co-Presenter, Megan Allcorn, of The Clean Home Shop & Refillery in Dickinson will be my co-presenter for this course

Megan is a busy mom and business owner (of 3 businesses!) who knows how hard it is to find healthy cleaning products and materials for your home. At The Clean Home Shop & Refillery you will find all kinds of things to greatly reduce your exposure to microplastics. This includes natural brushes, cleaning cloths, refillable bulk cleaning products, natural body care products, and more.
