"I was so impressed by the Holistic Hygge Retreat! It was immediately clear that a lot of thought and preparation went into this event because the flow matched the intension of the day beautifully. Nothing felt rushed or too long, and everything had that lovely hygge vibe that I long for in the winter. Erin’s expertise was showcased throughout. I was a bit apprehensive about the yoga portion going into the event because I’m not very experienced or flexible, but Hollie made me feel at ease and it was very enjoyable. Overall, the day long experience along with all the takeaways (handmade tea blend, personalized oil blend, and small crystal) left me thinking that it should have cost way more! Ten out of ten, would recommend and do again!"

After experiencing a sound bath and "gonging" from Erin, I felt a sense of calm and mental and emotional well-being that is hard to describe in words. I would highly recommend Erin to anyone who is curious and willing to open their mind to the healing sound therapy can provide. She made me feel safe to discover my self awareness and let go of the hesitation and self judgement that we often feeling trying something new.

I’ve known Erin for a long while now, and when I found myself in a place of forgetfulness, a place where I didn’t feel at home in my own body on my own planet, I knew where to go. As usual, Erin didn’t disappoint. Her knowledge runs deep and wide and her community is welcoming. They took me in, reminded me that I am a powerful being who is in control of my own destiny, a member of a sacred community – womankind. Women have been healing each other for centuries and Erin is tapping into the old ways, which science is only now beginning to appreciate.
Review from a Retreat Host
I had the privilege of sharing the experience of hosting a weekend retreat with Erin Oberlander, founder of Arcadia Holistic School. I emphasize hosting because Erin was initially contracted to only provide 6 hours of Aromatherapy and Sound Therapy—what happened, is she provided far more than a quantitative amount of time can invoice.
Erin exuded mastery knowledge in custom aromatherapy oil blends to core understanding of lineage and aromatic healing elements that are mandatorily unique to each person. She took a personal interest in spending active, connected and engaged time/focus in each person’s journey she created a blend for.
She also has the knowledge and ability to effectively communicate on various levels – the essence(s) of these blends and how the aromatic components work in direct relation with cognitive recollection of memory and to present moment feeling. She incorporated a Rife machine into the aromatherapy experience (note, her expertise in sound therapy was cross used in an aromatherapy session – dual benefit).
Erin showed exceptional knowledge and ability in sound healing – providing an auditory and vibrational journey with Tibetan and crystal bowls, drums, and gongs (and more... she has a versatile toolkit of her craft). It was a powerful experience, and I would recommend it to anyone looking to journey within. In a group setting – Erin works with intuition and action, her experience is noticed through natural ability to instinctively react, respond, and adapt to a group dynamic. --Sena Nelitz
